and steady wins the race. We were taught
that lesson by the Tortoise and the Hare when we were children. Yet, it is an important lesson to keep in
mind when marketing your business. The
key to a successful marketing blitz is balance.
Keeping
your website updated is important, just like ensuring you are maintaining a
marketing presence. However, pushing all
of your updates and promotion out at the same time can lead to an oversaturated
market where customers/clients will end up missing what you are trying to
promote.
A
staggered approach is best, promoting products or services that are relevant at
the time or a build up strategy as a “countdown” to a product launch or service
to build up the “excitement”.
You
want to ensure your updates/marketing are reaching your audience at the most
effective time, along with ensuring that it is impactful and effective on your
audience.
The
key is to keep them engaged, yet not overwhelmed.
